Usually I go to the McHenry location, but they have been so rude to me. I have discovered this Starbucks, at Lake & 14, and they are all so kind and sweet!! Not to mention, they are really fast at making drinks. I picked up some drinks for my friends the other day and they placed it as soon as I pulled up to the drive thru speaker. They weren't annoyed, even though I know that's totally annoying, and had my drinks ready shortly after I got to window with a smile on their face. Maybe the McHenry location can learn from these people!! I have stopped going tot he McHenry location and choose this one instead!

I went through the drive thru because I have an appointment to get to, and they were rude and I did not get the drink that I wanted at all, I ordered a venti HOT, SOY green tea latte with 7 scoops of matcha
I received a venti iced coconut milk green tea latte. I didn't have time to have them remake it but I'm very disappointed considering it was not even busy so I don't understand the miscommunication -

I like Starbucks but! The staff is a 50/50 here, it's either nice (I really mean of the ladies are very nice and helpful) or you get some very unpleasant ladies who seem to be annoyed to take your order and are more interested in talking to each other, also there is a man there that has been Very rude to my family! Treats my grandma and mother like they are stupid and makes my handicapped brother feel bad about himself that he has a hard time forming sentences without stuttering. You can be rude to me and roll your eyes at me when I forget what kind of tea I like to order or that I want heavy cream added and that "makes it a special order" but when you make my handicapped brother feel bad about himself... that is the last straw!!!!! I will be writing corporate about this place.

I was so excited that this Starbucks opened so close to home and I've given it so many chances but they're the worst. The drinks are never consistent and are poor quality. I've never once had a drink that tastes the way it is supposed to and I've given them try and try again because I was so hopeful. They don't listen to what you want in your drink, and even have endangered people I know who have allergies because they don't pay attention to what you ask for in the drink. This location needs some SERIOUS work. Being nice & friendly can only get you so far when you have a million other places to get coffee. Although lately, nice & friendly isn't even what I've been getting from half of the staff. I really hope corporate can get involved and re-vamp this location with better staff training so that this can eventually be somewhere I bring my business again, as for now I won't be returning. I will say if you get lucky and have Anastasia, she is nice & great at making drinks. She's really the only one though that has ever gotten drinks right.

Brand new location! Lots of different treats to eat, and your normal drink selection as well.
